Look this site says 23,6 million people has diabetes.
Out of them 23.6 million people you know one person has it. Nick jonas. But why do you guys feel so sorry for him. Saying he is so strong for not giving up and stuff like that. But y’all don’t say anything about the other millions of people that have it? Yall just care about the famous one with diabetes not the others
Yeah it might seem like I am being mean about this. But I do know people personally that has it. My mom. I have to give her a shot everyday because of it. I have other family members that have it.
Yeah like I feel bad for nick and whoever has it. They told me I will probably get it.
You are NOT being mean. You are making a wonderful point. And I’m so terribly sorry about your mother.
Of course I feel bad for Nick Jonas, but I also feel bad about the OTHER 23.6 million people who have it.
This is why Jonas fans are so ignorant and intolerant of other’s feelings. I personally block ‘em all >).
I MIGHT come back and rant more but before I go:
JONAS FANS: Get a life. Get boyfriends.
Do you know any young famous people with a disability for example Nick Jonas has diabetes.
Thanks for your help x
Bethany Hamilton – Bethany Meilani Hamilton (born February 8, 1990) is an American surfer. She is known for surviving a shark attack in which she lost her left arm, and for overcoming the serious and debilitating injury to return to surfing. On October 31, 2003, Hamilton went for a morning surf along Tunnels Beach, Kauai. Around 7:10 a.m., she was lying sideways on her surfboard with her left arm dangling in the water, when a tiger shark attacked her, ripping her left arm off just below the shoulder. Just eight weeks after the incident, she returned to her board and went surfing again. In July of 2004 Hamilton won the ESPY Award for Best Comeback Athlete of the Year. She was presented with a special courage award at the 2004 Teen Choice Awards. Hamilton still aspires to become a professional surfer.
why?
and thousands of people suffer from illnesses worse than diabetes, but why don’t they have thousands of girls to craze or "care" about them?
who are the jonas brothers?
Personally, I feel bad for anyone who has an illness, whether they’re a celebrity or not.
No one should ever put down someone else just because they have an illness.
Anyone who is sick or has diabetes or any other illness can’t help it, and it’s tough for anyone to deal with, whether you’re a celebrity or not.
And yeah, they have a lot of money….but I bet you didn’t know that they donate 15 percent of it each year to their charity to help kids with diabetes.
So people say that they’re too busy to help other people, but really every day they work, and every penny they make, helps other people.
Here’s their website if you don’t believe me
www.changeforthechildren.org
So don’t say that it doesn’t matter if someone has a serious illness….that’s just rude. You have to remember that he is a person just like you and I and everyone else, and he had Diabetes long before they became famous.
It shouldn’t matter if you like or dislike the Jonas Brothers, you shouldn’t judge someone because they have an illness.
What do you think?
I agree that he should be treated the same as other people with an illness….which also means that people shouldn’t say they don’t feel bad for him at all.
Just my opinion. ![]()
You shouldn’t fawn over them, either. It’s not that it’s a great thing that he has it, we just get tired of seeing "I soooooooo crYE3d Wh3n i FoUnD oUt abowT Itt!"
I’ll tell you something else, too. Truly classy people don’t look for sympathy at every turn for having something like that. They insist on living their lives normally despite having to maybe take a few extra precautions.
It just doesn’t make him as special as people seem to think it does.
Some girls act like he is going to die!
Its not like hes going to die…
I’m sure if he wasn’t famous then no one would care that much
Nick Jonas has Juvenile Diabetes or some call it Type 2 Diabetes. It is nothing like regular diabetes which is Type 1. I know this because my child is Type 1 and I am Type 2. Juvenile diabetes is when the pancreas stops working and doesn’t produce insulin anymore. This usually occurrs during childhood. Jonas, like my child, developed his diabetes during his early teens. When the child and parents are told the diagnosis, they feel like the child’s life is over, which does not have to be true. Some even go through a grieving period or a denial period. If the diabetes isn’t managed properly, eventually blindness, kidney loss, loss of limbs, and even death will eventually occur. Jonas just wants other kids to know that they aren’t alone with their Juvenile Diabetes and that even famous people get it and manage to live somewhat normal lives. I’m glad Jonas and others like him are out there educating the world about their illness. Before our child got it, we knew nothing about this kind of diabetes. I only knew about my kind of diabetes. We had to take classes on proper diabetic diets, how to give Insulin shots, what to do when emergencies pop up, and so many other things. And yes, we do care about all kids that are diabetic. I hope this helps you understand better.

Jayme: Let me see your necklace!
Sara: (sees Jaymes bracelet) Let me see your bracelet!
Jayme and Sara: Awwww! Thats so sweet! Lolz!
Joe: Yeah, we rock!
Nick: Well, I guess we better start packing.
*(Jayme goes with Nick, and Sara goes with Joe)*
* A few minutes later*
*(Joe runs out of his room)*
Joe: WHERE’S MY BARNEY!??!!?
Where’s Joe’s Barney!?!? Did Kevin take it? Did Mrs. Jonas? Did COOKIE MONSTER!?! lol, i kno its a weird ending. As Joe would say, “Awkward…” Yeah well i had to put SOMETHING! Besides it’s funny lol.

Hahaha, My mom is famous.
But My whole entire mom’s side is diabetic and i expect my two sisters too. Only female though which is weird. My dad is perfect at health, he never has any problems and doesn’t take vitamins..
So yea, if they got a strong gene.
stupid annoying teenies were being rude and screaming during this. they need to learn to repsect him.
right after he sang alittle bit longer he did a speech on how he was diagnosed with diabetes and how on the way to the hospital he promised himself he wouldn’t let this slow him down.
my camera ran out of memory but right after this video he said his famous speech about this song. it went like this sorta:
“this song is for every broken heart, for every lost dream, for all the highs and the lows, this song’s for you. for all the broken hearts, for the lost dreamers, for every person who’s ever been let down, sing this song at the top of your lungs. because something special happens when 6000 people come together and sing a song.” – nick j.
