Personally, I feel bad for anyone who has an illness, whether they’re a celebrity or not.
No one should ever put down someone else just because they have an illness.
Anyone who is sick or has diabetes or any other illness can’t help it, and it’s tough for anyone to deal with, whether you’re a celebrity or not.
And yeah, they have a lot of money….but I bet you didn’t know that they donate 15 percent of it each year to their charity to help kids with diabetes.
So people say that they’re too busy to help other people, but really every day they work, and every penny they make, helps other people.

So don’t say that it doesn’t matter if someone has a serious illness….that’s just rude. You have to remember that he is a person just like you and I and everyone else, and he had Diabetes long before they became famous.
It shouldn’t matter if you like or dislike the Jonas Brothers, you shouldn’t judge someone because they have an illness.

I agree that he should be treated the same as other people with an illness….which also means that people shouldn’t say they don’t feel bad for him at all.

I’ll tell you something else, too. Truly classy people don’t look for sympathy at every turn for having something like that. They insist on living their lives normally despite having to maybe take a few extra precautions.
It just doesn’t make him as special as people seem to think it does.

People have what he has, and way worse, but it doesn’t mean it’s easy.
and they are helping people. they donated 10,000 dollars to St.Judes. and went there and visited all the kids.

If you take one minute aside from idolizing them and see what challenges are effecting others, then you’ll truley understand. Donating money is nothing, anyone can do that. See how they are living compared to your rich celebrities who probably could care less.

OMG i totally agree! & i mean i feel really bad too cuz of all hes going through with being on tour with tons of fans, new albums, and it must be really stressfull for him as it is, and now he has diabetes on top of all of that.
so i totally agree with you and its really low when people like make fun of him or anyone else with an illness, cuz they cant help it and they probably dont have any idea what it feels like.

How is he any more special than all the other people with diabetes. I don’t see all these fans feeling sorry for them. All they care about is their precious Nick. My grandma died of diabetes a few weeks ago and people die of it all the time, but none of you would care. But if Nick died you would all be the cause of a major flood.

He’s not any more important then anyone else who has it.I have a cousin who has it,and an aunt who had it.No one is putting them on a pesistal or making them out to be hereos.I’m not judging him because he has it,that would be stupid.People act like because he’s famous,his is more important.I’m judging based on talent,which he doesn’t have.

I agree with you but I think he would probably rather not be singled out and have people feel sorry for him just ’cause he has diabetes. There is about 1.4 million people just in the UK who have it that know about (probably so much more that don’t, as well) and I just think he would probably rather not be pitied.
But I really agree with with the fact that no one who has an illness should be put down because it isn’t their fault.

i feel bad for him! they do so much for people with diabetes! i think it is soo sweet. and it must be hard living with it and you are a musician because if your blood sugar is low; you can like pass out. same thing with people that have it and are not star’s. i support diabetes for nick jonas AND for my daddy :]
