you’re welcome, it … you’re welcome, it works out how much insulin you will need based on your blood sugar levels and how many carbs you are about to eat
I like it a lot! … I like it a lot! There are several other brands that are really good too. They all do pretty much the same thing so I can’t really say that I personally prefer one brand over another.
i’m type 1 too and … i’m type 1 too and i was diagnosed just over a year ago when i was 12! i couldn’t cope with the amount of injections on the multi-injection regime, so i was given a pump in january this year – the paradigm 722!
im type one too i … im type one too i have a One Touch Ping insulin pump. i hate to change it because it hurts when the needle goes in. i was 3 when i was diagnosed..i have taken insulin shots untill i was 13, now im 14 and i have the pump.

No, they have them … No, they have them in the UK too. Ask your nurse. You do have to pay a little more attention with the pump but it offers so much more flexibility and control that it’s well worth the trouble.
hi just came across … hi just came across your video, im a type 1 diabetic im from ireland, contracted it 3 years ago so same age as when you got it. i’ve never seen this insulin pump here at all im still on an insulin pen four times a day. is this pump just mostly in america cos ive never been told about it by my diabetic nurse, maybe we’re just not as advanced over here or we dont have the money to introduce it. is the pump harder to get used to than the normal method?
Both, actually. It … Both, actually. It injects a tiny amount all the time. When you eat something then you tell it to inject a larger dose for the meal.
