Ok, I know my symptoms could be symptoms of anything else but if it is because of diabetes can the doctor give me treatment before I really have it? I have an appointment next Saturday because thats the only closest spot avalaible. But I want someone to tell me a lil info about diabetes.. I am scared =\ help please. thanks a lot.

You can only really tell by blood tests. A glucose test for what’s going on right now; and a A1C test to see a four month average of you glucose level. The doctor will explain.

You may have it. You should probably get tested by the doctor and if you do have diabetes he can prescribed you something.

Diabetes can only be diagnosed with a blood draw for HbA1c level which is expressed as a percentage number. 5 being perfect and anything over 6 being diabetic.

In order to control your glucose levels you really do want the full diagnosis of diabetes. Insurance Companies will not pay for testing supplies if diagnosed as pre diabetic, and the test strips are the most expensive part of this deal.

Quit stressin about it as that will do no good at all. Either you are or you are not. Stress raises glucose levels.

Read this site to know more about diabetes. It is one of the best I have found on the web: http://www.phlaunt.com/diabetes/

Ms. Mejillasy, please don’t stress before the fact. Take a deep breath and let it out. Ask yourself do you think by reading up on Diabetes will scare you more than help you since you Have Not yet been diagnosed. Sometimes we can read all about a certain disease or disorder and swear we have it simply by reading all the information about it. This is where I am going.

Yes, blood tests are your first source to determining your results. That is your first step. Remember that Fear = Fact Evidence Appearing Real. But not real yet. So don’t stress about what hasn’t or may not happen until it is a fact.

Ms. Mejillasy, Good-Luck & Stay Strong!
