I understand your concerns. Please disregard the comments from the people who have posted negatively. You are the one that has to carry the baby, do your injections daily, and overall are already high risk due to the diabetes. You already know that you heal slower. There is no risk factor with the termination of the baby with the exception of perhaps healing slower. I would do your research around and find a doctor that is competent and do what is best for you and your husband.

I was in a similar situation and got pregnant right after having my first one, via c-section. She was an emergency and had problems. Well the doctor didn't sew me up very well and told me that if I attempted to carry the baby to full-term it would put both of our lives at risk. So I did what I thought was best, at the recommendation of the doctor and termintated the pregnancy at 8 weeks. No one in the world needs to worry about what you do with your choices.

I wish you the best of luck, as it is a very hard choice to make.
References :
Mom of 2, 36w6d with #3, it's a boy!

Dear Friend, I am a person who is adopted and so happy to be alive and able to respond to you. You don't want to abort your precious baby. Women do regret abortions. Abortion can be linked to depression, suicide and kills the child. Please care for your little one who is growing inside you.
References :
Get support and information at a pregnancy resource center, which you can find by googling optionline.

Call 1800afamily.

first of all you need to speak to a doctor regarding the diabetes.
you will get a lot of nasty comments on here because of the termination. just remember it is up to you.
do not be pressured into it by your husband, you are the one that has to go through it and have it on your conscience. I know someone who as just recently had a termination because of the same situation as you. she said when it happened she felt guilty and asked herself what she had done. when she came out of hospital she felt relieved it was over and has not looked back.

lots of women have close pregnancies and cope very well.
References :
Why would you want to abort a baby? They are gifts.... If you feel you are unable to care for the baby, put it up for adoption. There are sssssoooooo many families that can not have a child that would love to have one and would like to have a baby. If you have 1 child, you know how lucky you are... It is a living child from the moment you had sex......
