    When I started …
When I started DiabeticMommy, I combined all types together in the forum. It turned out we all needed each other. For example, women with gestational who had to start insulin had a lot to learn from the type 1 members. Everyone learns from those who have achieved and maintain control, and together we all rally around diabetes-related causes. I recently tried to separate the group, giving each their own forum. I had to stop because of the outcry. We do have a lot to learn from each other.

Well said, very informative. Keep up the good work my man. – I know where your coming from as a type 1 diabetic myself for 22 years and the shocking lack of general public information and the lack of any government programmes in the uk to educate people, let alone provide up-to-date treatment services for diabetics. Keep raising the awareness.
